New Post and a New Look :o)

I know, I know, it has been a long time since I last posted. I have no excuses except I have been super busy and it is really hard to get anything done with a 4 month old who loves attention. In the past 2 months so much has happened.

To start off, the beginning of February Caleb flew out to NYC to visit his friends and watch the Super Bowl. He had a great time while he was there but had the hardest time getting home. His train ticket was canceled twice due to the snow that was falling in Washington DC at the time. He finally found a plane ticket to Myrtle Beach. So the kids and I drove the 2 hours to Myrtle Beach Airport to pick him up. While we were there we decided to go to the aquarium. The aquarium was so much fun. They have this amazing long tunnel that is all glass. It was really neat to see all the sea life especially the sharks swim above and next to you. Valerie’s favorite thing was saying “hi” to the diver in the tank. As for Henry his favorite thing was watching all the sting rays.

The following week is SNOWED! I know, snow in Charleston, yah right. But I promise you it did. It snowed about 6 inches. Valerie and Caleb loved every moment of it while it lasted.

As for the kids they are growing like weeds. Valerie has become such a big girl. Her favorite things to do is to dress up and use her imagination. I'm afraid I have influenced her a little to much. Anytime we go to the store she has to have a purse, jewelry, a list and coupons. LOL!

Henry on the other hand is getting big way to fast. He is almost 4 months old. I can't believe it. He is in my opinion Caleb's "mini me". Henry is a chunk. He is at least 16 pounds if not more. Henry's favorite things to do right now is to chew on his hands, standing in his johnny jump, using his voice to babble and laugh, garbing toys, trying to roll over and being so dang cute.

And for your enjoyment here is a cute collage of pictures I took of Valerie and Henry. These pictures show you Valerie's personality. A silly, silly, happy little girl.

Oh My, How Time Flies By

I never believed my mom especially when I was younger that time moves by faster and faster the older you get. I hate to admit it but she was right.  It feels like Henry was born yesterday and Christmas is still to come.  As we know Christmas was a month ago which then means Henry is now 7 weeks old! So much has happened in those 7 weeks.  Both Henry and Valerie have grown so much.  We all had RSV, even our poor Henry got it. He was only 5 weeks old!  That was a scary moment in time for us.  Through lots of prayer and a priesthood blessing, Henry healed incredibly fast and managed to stay out of the hospital.  As for everything else that happened the past 5 weeks. . . .

Christmas was so much fun.  My family once again was here.  We had a blast. We all had fun watching Valerie for the first time really understanding Santa and Christmas.  We got lots of fun gifts.  After Christmas I had lots of fun hanging out with my mom and sisters and Valerie loved having constant attention and playmates with her Uncles Phillp and David.  Here is our annual day after Christmas picture at the beach.

On New Years Eve we blessed Henry. It was nice to have it home. Caleb gave Henry a beautiful blessing.  Henry is such a special little boy!

Valerie has been such a big helper and a great big sister.  She is constantly watching out for Henry and also is very protective of him. We hear her all the time saying "I love my brother." and "Ohh, he's so cute!".

As for Henry he is growing like a weed.  He is now smiling, cooing, working on standing and is geting more and more cute with each passing day.

Here he is 1 week old.

Here he is at 6 weeks old.

Ouch!

Last night when Valerie came down the stairs after lightly bumping her head on a chair, this is what we saw. . .

Needless to say Caleb and I had a great laugh. Valerie on the other had was so proud that she was able to put the band-aid on "All by myself".

Henry Max Tracy

Here are a few of the pictures of the newest member of our family, Henry Max Tracy.  He was born December 3, 2009 at 1:51pm and weighed 8lb even and was 21 inches long.  He is doing GREAT! He has 10 perfect toes and fingers on long skinny feet and hands, and has lots of hair that is tinted red.  As soon as we are home we will post the details, but for now here are the pictures we have so far.  Enjoy!!!
