Kiss the Girl

Yesterday was Valerie's piano recital.  She has been working so hard on her piece.  She was so excited to play it for everyone. There was about 60 people there and that fact really didn't faze her a bit. Before her recital we asked her if she wanted flowers or to go and eat at a fancy restaurant to celebrate.  She decided she wanted the fancy restaurant. Fancy to her is anything that isn't Chick-Fil-A or McDonald's...haha. After her recital we headed to Carrabba's with our really good friends the Koller's and their kids to celebrate how well Valerie and the Koller boy's did on their recital pieces ( Wendy Koller is Valerie's piano teacher).  It was so much fun.  So here is the video.  Skip to 0:53 to hear her play.  Poor thing has a really bad cold so you have to listen closely to what she is saying.  If you listen close enough you can here her counting her notes, quarter, quarter, quarter, whole note hold it.
