*Disney World Day 1*

It is your lucky day. I am finally posting day one of our Disney World trip! Over the next few weeks I will be posting the other days of our Disney adventure. We had sooooo much fun. I am already trying to plan another visit :o) I know I am crazy.

First off I am just going to give some tips I found out or was told to do while we were there that made our trip experience so much better. . .

1 . Staying on property made the experience even more magical and easier to get around in our opinion. You already have end up hauling so much around with you especially when you have children. I can’t imagine having to pack everything you need in and out of the car then trekking the long way from the parking lot into the Park. When you stay on property there are so many different, fun and easy ways to get to the parks and be dropped off at gates to each of the parks.

2. Go if you can during low peak season. This makes it so much easier to see, ride, and get around the park to ride the rides or be at the very front for all the parades.

3. Get the meal deal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is such a wonderful thing Disney has created for eating at their parks and it is so versatile. This meal deal is good for everything including their high end restaurants. This saved us sooooooo much money, time, and having to lug around even more stuff, and allowed us to eat whenever we wanted. With the meal deal you get 1 snack, 1 fast meal, and 1 sit down meal per person each day. You can save them up, spread them out or use them all in the first day! And come on part of the Disney experience is eating their DELICIOUS food!!!

4 . If you are traveling with little kids make sure you have a stroller seat for each of them. You will be amazed how fast your kids get tired from all the excitement and you will be even more amazed at how they can sleep in the stroller and not be bothered by all the noise and jostling. This includes staying out late. Henry and Valerie would fall asleep at night and stay asleep through us getting on and off the bus and putting them to bed. It was amazing :o)

Ok enough of that here are the pictures. The first day of our trip we drove down to Orlando.Once we got there that evening we decided to go to the world’s largest McDonalds for dinner. It was a fun experience.

The very next day we got up and headed to DISNEY WORLD!!!!! That day after we got settled in our hotel room and all our things we needed for the day packed into our backpacks we hoped on a bus and made our way to Magic Kingdom. We met cousin Catharine just inside the gate. Catharine is working as a cast member for a semester from BYU-I. It was fun having her around while we’re at Disney World. She not only became Valerie's favorite person but she was able to give us fun facts and information about the different parks and attractions. We spent the day riding rides, then ate dinner at Tony's out on the balcony were we were able to eat and watch the parade. To finish off our day we made our way to Main Street and watched the fireworks behind Cinderella’s castle.
