As you can tell from the blog title, this month has been full of first ever experiences. First off, it is the first time I figured out how to up load video to my blog (your welcome grandmas and grandpas).
It was Valerie’s first time she took swimming lessons. She had a blast. Swimming lessons were so good for her. When I signed her up for lessons my goal for her was to get her in the pool without screaming and crying. The lessons worked. She now has a healthy respect for the water but has also learned it is okay to have fun in the water too. She now will put her face in the water to blow bubbles, and will jump in the pool if you will catch her. I am so proud of her for conquering her fear of the pool.

Valerie had a few more firsts too. This month was the first time she has ever fallen asleep eating, and the first time she shaved her legs (everything was pretend don’t worry), and first time she put on a puppet show.

As you can imagine Henry had lots of firsts too. He started crawling (army crawling). He is getting faster and better each day. Before we know it he will be on all 4’s. Crawling has opened his world up and now he is into and chewing everything! Let me just tell you there is a distinct difference between a little boy’s curiosity and a little girls curiosity. It is like night and day. Henry also got to experience his first cookie, and his first swing ride, he looooooooooved them both.
This is a video of Henry when we figured out it is easier to scoot on the hardwood then it is to crawl on it

We as a family had lots of first also. At the beginning of the month for the first time ever, we dressed up like cows for cow appreciation day at Chick-Fil-A. We had a blast doing this. Our complete meal was free and we were told we were the best dressed ones they had seen all day at their store :o) I saved all of our stuff so we can dress up again next year. For the first time for the kids, they got to put undies on their head and play super heroes. For the first time the kids and I got to Bee City. It is a little petting zoo out in the middle of no ware. They had lots of animals to pet and feed. Our favorites were all the monkeys and lemurs. Last but not least it was the first time as a family we went to Savannah Georgia. We have wanted to go since we moved here. So last Saturday we all piled in the car and drove down. Lucky for us it is only about 2 hours away. We had lots of fun. We mainly just drove around looking at sights. It was way too hot to walk around. If I remember correctly the heat index was about 110 degrees. We are excited to see what first will come then next few months. The one I know for I am looking forward to is DISNEY WORLD! It will be Valerie, Henry and mine first time ever to go. WHOO WHOO!

Valerie loved the rabbits at Bee City.
Valerie liked the alligator but thought the reptile house was way stinky, as if you couldn't tell.

Hello Savannah!
We visited a cemetery that is known for its big ornate grave stones.
